Efforts in Frugality

Creative money saving projects

About John

In my younger years, either by circumstance or an occasional poor life decision, it seemed I  always struggled to stay ahead of the financial curve. But I didn't let that inhibit my desire to own nice things.

I learned how to live a frugal life. I performed my own auto and home repairs. I learned how to sniff out a bargain and learned how to take care of those possessions so that they last. Over the years I have acquired the tools and the knowledge to perform many tasks. I have no formal training in these areas. I let my natural curiosity and logical thoughts guide me. Those qualities combined with my determination certainly have allowed me to live a life that I probably wouldn't have otherwise, and I am grateful.

I have worked in many areas of the customer service industry, mostly restaurants in my younger years. Once I graduated with a Bachelor's in Information Systems I found myself repairing computers for a local chemical company. I currently hold a position with a financial services company performing system testing.

It was a hard decision to share my life with the world. I am a fairly private person. But what the heck, get busy livin' or get busy dyin'.

I hope you enjoy and maybe even learn something.

Cheers!
